Project Operating Management

Midwestern College is experiencing increased attendance at their home football games.  Attendance prior to 2007.averaged 27,000 per game.  The table below lists attendance for the past six years.  The second game of each season is the homecoming game.  The fourth game of each season is during the locally sponsored Arts & Crafts Festival.

The existing stadium has seating for 54,000.  The athletic director is convinced it is time to build a new stadium and has asked you to analyze the data and make a recommendation.  Taking into account the seasonality of the games, forecast attendance at each game (1-5) for the next 5 years and make a recommendation regarding when a new stadium should be built (ie, what game in what year will forecasted attendance exceed capacity).
