Nidation is defined as the implantantion of embryo within the uterus. Nidation takes place approximately around the 7th day after the fecundation that is, 7 to 8 days after the ovulation (obviously, it happens only if fecundation also occurs). As, it happens within the luteal phase the level of progesterone is high and the endometrium is in its best condition in order to receive the embryo.
