In schematic longitudinal section of the embryo after neurula stage, outermost layer of the cells is known as ectoderm. In ventral region comes the archenteron tube which is formed of the endodermal cells. In both sides of embryo, the coeloms delimited by the mesoderm are present. In central region above the archenteron and in middle of the coeloms there exists the notochord. In dorsal region immediately above notochord exist the neural tube.
