Guidelines of perception

Question

Using a particular illustration of a time when you misperceived a situation, name and describe how at least three of the guidelines of perception would have helped you in perceiving the situation more accurately.

Take an example of a teacher taking a class. While talking about a particular subject, he draws his own notes by taking help of earlier work done on those particular topics. In doing this, he may be add some new thoughts and ideas while explaining to the students. It makes his perception partial and subjective in nature. Also sometimes a teacher tries to avoid the  mind thoughts of all and every student. Moreover he also takes care of facts and inferences while delivering lecture on the topic.
