The DNA vaccine, or we can say DNA vaccination, is a vaccination technique based on genetic engineering. In DNA vaccine a recombinant plasmid (vector) including the gene of a particular antigen which is part of a given pathogenic agent is placed into cells of the individual to be immunized.
