The exocrine pancreas releases the digestive enzymes of pancreatic juice: lipase, amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, deoxyribonuclease, carboxypeptidase, ribonuclease, elastase and gelatinase.The endocrine liberation of the pancreas is produced and released by the small groups of cells which are dispersed all through the organ known as “islets of Langerhans”.
