Describe the role of XSL during dynamically generating HTML pages from the relational database.

SQLXML 3.0 and advanced versions provide a provision of mapping SQL queries output with XSLT templates. This uses XSLT to present records that are retrieved from the databases on Web pages i.e. HTML pages.
