Describe what do you mean by Degree of Structure?

1. Unstructured or nondirective: in which you ask questions as they come to mind. To follow there is no fixed format.
2. Structured or directive: in which the questions and acceptable responses are specified in advance. The reactions are evaluated for suitability of content.
Structured and non-structured interviews have their pros and cons. In structured interviews all candidates are usually requested all essential questions by all interviewers. Structured interviews are usually more effective. However structured interviews do not allow the flexibility to pursue points of interests as they develop.
