Aliasing and anti-aliasing
What is meant by the term aliasing and anti-aliasing?

Aliasing:
Within the line drawing algorithms, all raster zed locations do not match with the true line and have to display a straight line. This problem is critical within the low resolution screens. In such screens line appears just like a stair-step. This effect is called as the aliasing.
Anti-aliasing:
Anti-aliasing refers to the process of regulating the intensities of pixels along with the line in order to minimize the effect of aliasing is known as anti-aliasing.
