You resume is the backbone of your application and can make or break if an employer wants to continue with you for an interview.
Make sure your resume consists of the following sections: Contact Information, Objective, Education, and Experience.
It is up to you to add any additional items to your resume. Try to add a couple more sections to highlight some additional information about yourself, such as "Honors/Awards," or even "Languages."
Be sure formatting is linear/flows; does not look disruptive.
