The assignment requires you to model a WAN using the COMNET III software. The assignment requires you to connect the Chester subnet, Exeter subnet and Plymouth subnet using (a) a WAN cloud; and (b) Point To Point links. The assignment intends to make use of Bus LAN, Token ring LAN, subnets, the WAN cloud, Network Devices and Point To Point links, and the routing protocols.
You need to set up the structure of a network to support the various operations and in particular video conferencing using the multicast backbone. Part of the work also includes answering some technical questions.
