a. Write a letter or compose an e-mail to one of your elected officials in the US Congress about a policy issue that is important to you.
b. Explain why the issue is important to you and how it affects your family and/or community
c. Copy the text of your letter to a document and then report on how your communication is responded to (if submitted through the internet) or on how long you expect to wait for a response (if submitted through the US mail).
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
