1. Select a condition of interest
2. Perform a Google search of the condition-identify a social media site aimed to informed an interested party (Patient or Client)
3. Complete the following questions:
a. Provide website link
b. Are there Conditions of Use and Privacy Statement for the website
c. In the About section- List the contact information: address, email and phone number
i. If available briefly describe the site's mission statement or code of ethics. If none -Note "No mission statement or code of ethics described"
d. Navigate the site- Set privacy/security settings prior to navigating
i. Does the site communicate clearly to the audience- give an example
ii. Do you notice areas of concerns- State your concern
iii. Read some of the post or communications posted
4. Would you recommend this site to patient?
5. Describe why you might recommend or not recommend patients to access this site.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
