This may well be considered to be the most significant Speech of Introduction ever delivered.
Since it is a political speech delivered at a national political convention by a junior Senator from the State of Illinois, I'd ask that you set aside any partisan leanings (pro or con) and simply study the oratory of the moment. The intent of the speech was to formally introduce Barack Obama to both the national democratic party and to the country as a whole.
