INSTRUMENT/MEASUREMENT MODEL, REGRESSION, PATH ANALYSIS, AND STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING TOOLS
If you already have a model for your dissertation, select 2 variables, then find at least 3 past studies that used each of the two variables and provide the following for each variable.
Note: You may end up with 6 studies, if these variables were not used together in the past.
Do not use Age, Gender, Education, or any other variables which are normally control variables.
If you not have constructs/variables identified yet, you may use the following Web site to find one:
Make sure that papers use some type of regression, path analysis, or Structural Equation Modeling.
Use the Module 3 SLP Template and fill out all the information.
You will be asked to describe or state the following:
• Name of Variable
• How variable was used (Dependent, Independent, Moderator, Mediator)
• Definition used in each paper (was it the same)
• # of Indicators in each paper
• The actual indicators (questions) used in each study
• The range for the responses (1 - 5, 1 - 7 etc.)
• Any statistics such as mean, Standard deviation, Mean, Kurtosis, Sample Size, Cronbach Alpha, etc. from the each studies for each variable.
Indicate NOT PROVIDED (NP) in any cell where the authors did not provide the information.
In your future study, describe who you think the sample population will be: Students, Office Workers, Leaders, etc.
What will their age and education ranges be. Add anything else.
For each variable, tell me how you think these people will answer. Will there be a full range of responses for each indicator or will individuals mostly respond on the low or high side?

SLP Assignment Expectations
• Student should become familiar with how different researchers use what may (or may not) be the same constructs/variables in different studies.
• Students should start developing an understanding of how the constructs/variables that a student may use in future research behaved in past studies.

My Hypothesis: The market demand and organizational culture defines innovation and performance in a company
These three variables could be placed in hypothesis as follows:
H1: Organizational culture has a positive and significant relationship with governance mechanisms through the mediation of IS intellectual strategic alignment.
To justify this hypothesis, one should consider the idea that corporate that has a properly instituted organizational culture and one that is well designed to meet all the needs of the firm internally and in a wholesome manner often succeed and those do not have it fail. This idea is supported by several authors including Van Dooren and Van de Walle (2016).
H2: Leadership style mediates the positive impact of IT governance mechanisms on organizational performance.
With regard to leadership styles as a mediating variable, the played is between other dependent variables such as organizational culture, IT governance mechanisms and others in determining the level of performance in an organization. If the wrong leadership style is assumed for various roles and they fail to materialize in the end, it means that regardless of how well the independent variables are executed, the expected level of success will be achieved (Chen et al., 2014).
H3: Government policy moderates the positive impact of IT governance mechanisms on organizational performance.
