For today's Cyber Friday assignment and Midterm Exam, watch the documentary "One Woman, One Vote" (American Experience, Public Broadcasting Service) located through the Ellis Library web site, Research Databases, scroll down to Alexander St./Academic Video Online database, and use the search box to locate the documentary (use the title as key words). Begin watching the documentary at 42:46 on the time stamp.
Pertinent references to the documentary must be incorporated into your Midterm Exam answers!!
As you watch, consider the following:
1. Why did some women fight so hard to be granted the right to vote?
2. What/Who were the major leaders of the movement?
3. What were the greatest obstacles to achieving this reform?
4. What strategies did women suffragists use to advance their cause and why?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
