A researcher has developed the hypothesis that teenagers are better able to learn about and remember technological information than are older adults, whereas older adults are better able to remember information about historical events than are teenagers. Develop a 2 × 2 factorial design that could test this research hypothesis. What type of design is the research? What pattern of data is expected, and what conclusions could be drawn if the data come out as expected?
