Essay instructions: Where does your water come from? Everyday, we turn on the tap and water comes out.
Too often, we take this for granted, and most of us do not know where our water comes from. In this one page, single-spaced essay, outline where your water comes from.
Answer these questions:
What supplies your water?
Where is it stored?
How does it get to the tap?
Is it treated?
What is it treated with?
Where is it treated?
Where does it go when you are finished (flushing the toilet, laundry waste water, etc...)?
And finally, do you have any concerns about your water supply?
Do county or government officials have any concerns?
You'll be graded on spelling and grammar, as well as properly addressing the questions using appropriate sources. You'll be required to use proper citation and references.
