Assignment
The topic we agreed upon was Cyber Security in (for) Developing Countries. I think we discussed Africa as an area of interest because of the number of developing countries. However, you might be more interested in other areas like South and Central America, the Middle East, the area of the Stans (Pakistan, Turkmenistan, etc) or Southern and Eastern Asia. In my mind, that would be the first step in the research process is determination what region of developing countries to study. From there, I see the research in a few potential big pieces:
What is the nature of cyberspace in the region
What are the potential vulnerabilities
What are the risks from those vulnerabilities
What is being done to counter those vulnerabilities, by whom (government, industry, NGOs, private citizens, etc)
The research would be drawn together by your conclusions drawn from the facts your research determines.
Finally, at the end of the paper do me 3 questions these readings raise but do not answer it.
