Upon completion of the Required Readings, write a thorough, well-planned narrative answer to each of the following discussion questions. What is the definition of impairment under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?
Discuss the statutory framework for determining if impairments are covered under the ADA including a discussion of the three proofs of impairment and of major life activity affected (definition and proof).
Give three examples of covered and three examples of non-covered impairments.
