What is the cinematic vision of the director

When writing the review the student should include (but not be limited to) the following items:

Medium of film: narrative, documentary, and absolute film and their use of visual images
Elements of Film: camera shot, movement, and viewpoint; editing, lighting, and music
Editing: sequences of shots--montage; sequences of scenes.
Content: what is the cinematic vision of the director and how does the cinematic experience reveal the content of the film? What does the film reveal about its characters? about how the world operates? about itself as a film?

When writing a film review, be sure at some point to describe a particular scene(s) that you feel uses the camera in a meaningful way to reveal who the main character(s) is (are) or the situation they find themselves in, or that sets a certain mood for the film. Your analysis should conform to the standards of artistic criticism: Descriptive, Interpretive, and Evaluative Criticism
