Assignment
Directions: Students will attend one Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous open meeting and submit a 3-4-page narrative that includes the following information:
• The date, time, and location of the meeting.
• The number of attendees.
• A summary of your reactions to the meeting
• What parts of the meeting were comfortable for you?
• What parts of the meeting caused discomfort for you? Why?
• Was there a member that stood out to you? Why?
• How did attending this meeting help you better understand addicts and/or addictions?
• What did you observe that helped you understand your own views, beliefs, or opinions about substance abuse? Did your views change? How?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
