Your review should include the following elements:
1. Your search strategy (10%)
- What key terms did you use to find your literature?
- What databases and websites did you use to find your literature?
- Did you use any other types of sites or organizational web pages to find literature?
2. Your reasons for including/excluding papers for your review and thepertinence and quality of the papers you do include (20%)
- Create a list of criteria to explain how you would select from the literature to be reviewed. There is lots of research on one topic - how will you choose what ones are important to know for your study?
3. The evidence on your topic (30%)
- What did you find out about your topic from reading the literature?
- What are other studies saying about the topic?
- What doesn't the literature tell you?
4. Your conclusions from the evidence (15%)
- Is there something the study missed?
- Are there more questions that need to be answered?
5. Your research question arising from the evidence (15%)
- Based on your analysis of the research, what do you propose to study?
- Will you investigate a broad topic, or would you look at something in more specific detail?
