Based on authoritative sources (including peer reviewed articles from the library, Fraud Examiners Manual, etc), discuss how wide spread you think identity theft has become. As part of your discussion describe how this can be prevented and detected, what current laws are in place to prosecute these types of crimes, and if you think suspects committing this fraud have too many or not enough rights.
