Water enters the tower at 35 degree C and the water flow rate is 1.2 times the mass flow rate of air. Make-up water is supplied at 20 degree C. What arc the range and approach of the tower? At what rate is heat absorbed from the load by the stream of water on its way back to the top of the tower? What percentage of the water flow rate must be supplied as make-up water to replace the water evaporated into the air stream?
