• Think about what you would like to do with your career in accounting. Is there a certain area of interest that you want to learn more about? Do you think it will be covered in your upcoming classes or will you need to seek additional knowledge outside of class?
• What about getting a certification? Besides the obvious accounting certification of CPA, you may also become certified as a Managerial Accountant (CMA) or Internal Auditor (CIA), among others. Are you interested in pursuing a certification? Why or why not? If you are, which certification do you think will be most helpful for your goals?
