Dear Students:
You recently have been performing very well in the Spring 2017 course. However, I am requesting that we bump up the level of participation within the classroom environment. In order to do so, I am requesting the following:
1. We move the starting time of the live seminar to 15 minutes earlier in order to spend more time in the academic learning environment.
2. We bring caffeinated or sugary beverages to our live sessions in order to stay alert through the entire lecture.
3. We begin every seminar by doing 15 minutes of calisthenics.
4. We end every seminar 15 minutes later than scheduled. Doing so will allow us to have an even more enlightenment learning experience.
5. We will begin the class by providing the opportunity for each class member to sing one of his/her favorite songs in order to express his/her artistic talents and interests. This is a requirement, not a request, as it will serve to create community within our team setting.
These new requirements will begin immediately. I look forward to your positive attitudes and smiling faces in the midst of these exciting adjustments.
