For this experiment you will need a stand, string, a paper or plastic cup, a nail, a roll of paper towels or similar sized paper, colored sand, or some other dry powdery product, and a ruler or measuring tape.
Following the procedure in the video, create three traces of the pendulum motion of the cup. Compare the three traces for amplitude, wavelength, and frequency.
