There has been some debate about the topic of leadership, whether leadership is learned or if there are born leaders. Pinto (2013) states, "These skills may or (more likely) may not be innate; that is, for the majority of us, leadership is not something that we were born with" (p. 124). What are your thoughts about this topic? Are leaders born and have an innate characteristic to be a leader, or is this a learned behavior? Do you think with practice, we can become good leaders?
