Information Systems Homework -
The topic chose for the presentation and this project is Pension Insurance Statistics.
Each student should identify a project topic and define the research questions, find the data to answer the questions, analyze the data, and write a paper to summarize the findings. You will be asked to submit your paper before your presentation to the class.
Paper - You must use existing data (noaa, census, data.gov, etc...)
- Copy other person's report will result in failing the course.
- Please feel free to discuss with me about the project topics and everything related to it.
- Your topic must be submitted to me via email no later than - 2/19.
- The term project paper should be in MS-WORD or PDF. In your report, you must have descriptive (tables, graphs, descriptive measures such as mean, standard deviation, percentage) and correlation data between two or more variables. All the statistical tables and charts should be properly labeled. You are encouraged to use a reference section to cite reference papers and use the appendix section for showing any other significant information.
- The average number of pages from student term papers in the past is about 4 pages.
- The paper must include introduction, data description, results of analysis, summary, conclusion.
- Write your response in APA or MLA format,
Your analysis should include tables and charts to support your analysis. It should be about 4 pages in length. Presentation -
- Your presentation must be 10 - 15 minutes.
- To earn full points for the assignment, you must take part in the presentation.
- You must use PowerPoints or some presentation software.
- You may use note cards or handouts/notes. Avoid "reading" your notes to the audience.
- You must include an Introduction, The Results / Discussions (sometimes called the body).
