Black Friday at Costco
The objective to this portion of our research is to determine if we have the right number of employees scheduled to work on Black Friday 2015, here at Costco.
Given the data we have researched from the last three years pertaining to employees scheduled compared to sales activity as well as the door counts on the number of customers.
We have broken the employees and the sales amounts in hourly blocks to get a better feel for when more staff should be scheduled and alternately when less staff should be on duty.
Problem: Do we have the right number of employees scheduled for each hour of Black Friday?
