Situational characteristics of crimes

The Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency has published a study on the situational characteristics of crimes. In a random sample of 96 robberies, 36 were committed by people who acted alone. And in a random sample of 69 assaults, 39 were committed by people who acted alone. Test the hypothesis at the .05 level that the population percentage of crimes committed by people acting alone is the same for robbery and assault.
