You should conduct a review of the economic growth and financial development literature relating to a country or region of your choice.
You should choose a country or region for which there is a rich literature, published in respected journals (at least 5 empirical papers in top 300 journals).

You should relate empirical results back to the theory.
You should draw together themes from across the literature, and reach some definite conclusions.
