Quantitive Reasoning: Measurement level to use for hospital moving patients
There are four different levels of measurement. Select a business decision that you might make based on the measurement of a specific thing. Consider, for example, that you are running a hospital. The air-conditioning fails, and the temperature climbs to over 80° Fahrenheit. You need to move patients to other buildings. That is an interval level of measurement, and you know as a result that a 1° difference has a specific effect on the body's ability to function.
Your measurement should be one that someone else in class has not already selected. What type of measurement is it, and what does that mean as far as how it can be used?
