Assignment: Pathophysiology Disease Paper and Presentation Crushing's Syndrome
For this assignment you will need to write a 3-page paper (not including title page or bibliography) and give a 5-10 minute presentation to the class on your topic. Make sure to create a concept map to hand out to the class that includes the information stated below. Add some creativity to your presentation.
In your presentation you will need to include the following and create a concept map as well:
Pathphysiology of the disease process
Etiology of the disease process
Signs and symptoms (manifestations) of the disease process
Treatment of the disease process
Diagnostic test
1-2 nursing diagnosis with interventions
One NCLEX-type question for the class
One interesting piece of information about your disease process found from a reputable source outside of your textbook (this should be included as a citation in your paper. It should also be included on your reference page at the end of your paper).
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
