The health care system in the United States today is confronted with three conflicting objectives: access, cost, and quality. Health care organizations and health services managers must be able to formulate strategies around these objectives to ensure that they remain viable in the future.
Taking the perspective of a health services manager, in your opinion, which of these three objectives is the most important? Why? How can health services managers accomplish all three objectives?
