Assignment:
Research a company that interests you from the Fortune 500. Analyze what they do. What business are they in? What industry? How have they been performing? How is their growth? What is their mission statement? Do they seem to be following their mission? Who are their competitors? Perform a SWOT analysis on your chosen organization. Are they global?
Answer the above questions in a three page paper with a minimum of four references.
This assignment will have an APA styled title page, three full pages of narrative including numerous citations on each page, and an APA styled reference page. More is better for this paper when it comes to references.
Suggestions for references: Fortune Magazine, SEC.gov, the company itself (.com), and several large articles from various respectable publications with peer and journalistic integrity (in other words it went through some kind of editorial review and process for publication), most well-known publications are fine.
Not acceptable: Wikipedia, blogs, random .coms, dictionary.com, ehow,
Extra Credit: Eight separate references. To have a reference means you used it in your paper and cited it per APA guidelines.
