For example, it specifically presents "Asian Americans," a category that often includes over 45 distinct ethnicities speaking over 100 language dialects.
Next, review the Pew Research Center's Chapter 3: Demographic & Economic Data, by Race. Scroll down to the College Completion Rate by Race/Ethnicity, 1964-2012 chart, which shares the data for one of the social trends regarding Asian Americans. Then, describe what the data says about the trend for Asian Americans.
Next, evaluate at least one reason these broad racial categories are useful and at least one reason why these broad categories are problematic.
