Statement 1,
Your analysis of the strategic management appears to be accurate. Strategic management focus is on long-term goals incorporating development and growth of the organization (Kovacheva, n.d.). Assessing the business and the external factors relating to the environment, trends, and competition. Strategic management process compiles five phases organizational objectives, environmental scanning, strategy implementation, strategy formulation, strategic control (Kovacheva, n.d.). Based on the example you mentioned about launching new products relating to information technology these components are important to determine how the products may fare in specified markets (Kovacheva, n.d.). Do you think software and hardware products are advertised as much as cell phone companies selling the latest technology gadgets?
MAIN POST INSTRUCTIONS:
Read "SaaS Vendor Selection(website below)" and then address the following 3 questions:
1. List two benefits of the IT Strategy to use a SaaS solution to support the hiring process.
2. Identify three things the CIO and his team should look for as they consider which SaaS vendor to select. Explain what they are, why they are important to CIC's business.
3. Then, explain what you think is CIC's biggest risk in outsourcing this IT function, why you selected that risk, and what CIC's IT department's key responsibilities are to minimize risk and protect the business as they select and use a SaaS solution.

1. Think back over the class and then share one new and important concept that you learned during this class. It could be something that peaked your interest, something you never heard of or did before, something you struggled with, etc. Pick something from the attached resources or from the attached textbook!!!
2. Respond to the following statement(AB):
• I must say that this class was definitely a learning experience. While some of items we went over I kinda already knew about, it still added more information on that known knowledge. I really enjoyed the case study work and how to make a report for a company about new a system and the benefits to having the company upgrade. However, I really enjoyed learning about how the IT technology plan works and how to put it together, and the roles of different types of IT managers. I also enjoyed learning about system requirements too, as I have never heard of it before! Overall, the whole class has been a great learning experience for me and my career in business!
