1. Business Administration
To be an entrepreneur has been my childhood dream and this convinced me to choose Business Administration as my subject. To run a business is successfully requires patience, talent, perseverance as well as business skills. While growing up I understood that to be a successful entrepreneur I must equip myself with the essential knowledge of business studies.Business Administration is the only subject that can help me to pursue my dreams as this would help to specialize my skills and also develop capacity to analyze. This field of study will enhance my communication skills which would help further help me in establishing connections with the associates.
While enhancing the analytical skills of a person Business Administration also makes one independent and versatile. It generates the entrepreneurial qualities and develops risk taking capacity, it also prepares one for taking practical decisions under business environment. Precisely this course not only prepares but strengthens a person to run a business enterprise.
Canada being among the list of developed nations attracts international business, the country has lot of potential and can make its mark in the world with its trade and business policies. The study of Business Administration therefore becomes important in the country as it will train more and more young brains with entrepreneurial skills and enhance their knowledge to run business successfully while generating revenue for the nation.
After completing this course I would like to setup my business of manufacturing and exporting chocolates to different parts of the world. I will make sure to use all the tactics and principles that I have learned during my course.
2. Nutrition and Dietetics
The field of Nutritionist has always been of interest to me as this gives me an opportunity to serve people in a way that they can work to keep themselves healthy. I decided to choose a field a career that can benefit the people and assure them healthy life after seeing the repercussions of having unhealthy diet, I took this decision when I was in the high school and encountered some tragic incidence in my family. While growing up with this though I learnt about the Nutrition and Dietetics study and how it can be the panacea to several problems.
The field of Nutritionist and Dietetics holds a lot of relevance as it can help design the nutrition therapies to address the health related issues like obesity, hypertension and diabetes. It can also be beneficial in creating awareness and haveproper nutritional standards, ensure safety of the food supply, make people understand the importance of changing food habits and how it affects their health. It can also pressurize the food manufacturers to improvise upon the quality of the prepared food which is very important.
This field is essential and can play dominating role in any country, likewise it my country as well. Since food is the fundamental requirement of every person therefore it is important that the intake of food should be of good quality and in proper quantity. This field of study can therefore generate awareness among the people by setting their dietary habits and also provide them with adequate information about the various other issues related to food. Only healthy people can make a healthy country therefore this field will play a vital role in the nation.
After completing this study I would like set up my own clinic and provide awareness among people by putting free camps. I would also like to do some social work and give free consultation for those people who cannot afford expensive services.
