Information: Your group has been assigned to write an article for an upcoming issue of the college business magazine. The cover will show pictures of the following successful CEOs. The working title of the article is "What Do These People Have in Common...If Anything"?
Choose one CEOs. I choose Michael Dell (Dell ComputerTM). Identify the corporate strategies that were formulated by these CEOs that led to the success of their respective companies. Indicate any obstacles they had to overcome. Indicate any special skills or personality traits they possess that contributed to the success of the corporation.
Review the postings of your group members. As a group discuss the similarities between the CEOs. Come to group consensus on a generic model for CEOs that contain suggestions that are not industry-specific, but suggestions that any CEO can benefit from to be successful.
Students must actively participate in both the group and individual portion in order to receive credit for both portions. Use the small group discussion board and chat to communicate with each other. Note that both the individual and group portions should be in APA format.
