Is there an appropriate way to include my point of view on

This is the assignment for my advanced pathophysiology course:

Discuss the impact that infertility has on a couple. Address the financial, emotional, cultural/social and relationship/intimacy impact. What support can you as a nurse provide to help the couples? What resources are available in your community locally or from a national standpoint for couples struggling with infertility?

Here's some background about me:

I'm a registered nurse. It is my opinion that our cultural obsession with fertility is related to a traditional judeo-christian value system which emphasizes a belief that reproduction is a duty required by god. I think that the distress caused by an inability to reproduce is inappropriate and selfish. I find it to be repugnant that our culture is ok with expending vast amounts of money, time, and effort on fertility, in spite of the fact that so many children in the world are orphaned, abused, or abandoned, and truly need good parents who want to have children. I imagine that so much good could be accomplished if all those resources were redirected toward adoption services and foster parenting.

With that in mind, my question is this:

Is there an appropriate way to include my point of view on this issue while still fulfilling the requirements of this paper?

(I chose to send this to a psychology tutor because I think that a psychological perspective will be interesting!)

Thanks in advance for considering my question! I look forward to your thoughtful reply.
