Classical Conditioning Theory- In marketing, Classical Conditioning is a form of associative learning where your mind is intentionally trained to associate different behaviors or feelings with products or brands. Marketers always want their product/service offerings to stand out from the rest. Thus, they position their brand and try and differentiate it from the competitors. An example of Classical Conditioning Theory is in Coca-Cola ads. There ads always states “open happiness”, which would make you associate Coca Cola with happy thoughts or feelings.
