Instructions:
Refer to assignment #2 as well as Assignment #1.
You are the owner of WC Progressive Products and you have made a decision regarding whether you are going to stay in your current location or whether you will accept the country of Valhalla's offer and move operations overseas.
The focus of this assignment is concentrated upon a sales pitch presentation that you will be giving to your Board of Directors. They are aware of your decision [you made it together] however, you are now focusing on how your company will function and operate as a whole in the future.
First select ONE of the products* from the following list:
• An expensive bicycle
• A distinctive watch
• Hiking boots
• LED Lantern
• Portable Folding Chair
• *No, you may not use another product.
The product you select is the product that your company manufactures. Use your imagination!
Now, prepare a 6-8 page sales pitch presentation, label each answer 1, 2, 3, etc. Use reference sources other than your text - three other than your text. Be sure to cite your references and provide a reference page.
In your Assignment #3, you are obligated to include the following:
1) Confirm your decision to stay or go and explain WHY?
2) Explain the advantages of staying or going. Explain the disadvantages of staying or going.
3) Identify your product and explain anything that may be special or unique about it. Understand that you are planning to sell your product internationally - regardless of the decision.
4) (First, refer to information in Chapters 12, 13, & 14 of your text) explain the region or specific location area that you will be selling your product - whether you stay or go. (see screen shots below of topics)
Also, refer to Assignment #1, consider the dimensions of globalization that you identified when responding to Assignment #1 in your responses to the following
5) If you chose to stay, explain how you plan to enter the international market [Be sure to review all your options].
6) If you go, explain if you will sell your product in the local area or do you plan to expand outside the local region? Example: Will you sell your product in: Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Asia?
7) Do not forget to discuss possible price. Explain how you will distribute your products - regardless of the location of your operations.
8) Consider whether there are cultural issues of which you need to be aware.
9) Identify the type of relationship that you plan to have with the local government.
10) Add anything else that you may think of that would be important for your audience to know...provide the information.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
