Assignment:

The sales teams report to the sales leader they do not have enough supply to meet customer demands and their sales goals. The planning and manufacturing / production teams report they have produced to the sales forecast provided 12 months ago for the season. In addition they took the additional step of reviewing last year's sales and with those two information sources, communicate they set production goals and met their goals. Identify the two to three most probable business reasons why the sales goals won't be met and recommend specific improvements to correct the problems for the next season.
