Instructions
1 Using the 6 steps for designing goods and services, analyze how your selected business puts together its product/service offering
2 Use the Product-Process Matrix and Service Positioning Matrix to determine what you feel to be the best process solution for your company (Be sure to justify your answer). Compare your findings to what the company is currently doing. Do you agree or disagree?
3 Describe where the company is located? What are the advantages and disadvantages to this location? Do you agree with their location? Explain why you feel that way. If you disagree with the location suggest a more suitable spot and explain you reasoning.
4 Answer the key questions that need to be address for successful workplace layout as they pertain to your business.
5 What type of inventory system do you feel your company uses? If you agree this is the best inventory solution for your company explain why, if you disagree then suggest an alternative method and explain your opinion.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
