Part 1:
Read the NTSB safety report of the Hendrick Motorsports, Inc. aircraft accident. Write a summary of the Hendrick case study describing how the Hendrick accident is related to human factors. Also, include the preventive measures the management of Hendrick Motors could have taken to prevent this accident from occurring.
Submit a 2-3 page document summary. It should cover the human factor errors made by the Hendrick flight crew which caused the accident. Also, identify failures of the Hendrick Motorsports management in the training of their flight crews. The paper should be grammatically sound and free of spelling errors.
Post your case study in the supplemental 6.4b NTSB Case Study (Part 2) discussion board so your fellow students can read your conclusions of the accident. This case study will be graded as a discussion assignment.
Part 2:
After completing Part 1, and uploading a copy of your case study to the discussion board in 6.4b NTSB Case Study (Part 2), respond to the following:
Describe your recommendation to management on how to prevent the failures you identified in your Hendrick Motorsports case study assignment. Using your critical thinking skills, respond to one of your peers from a manager's viewpoint on their recommendations to management.
The assignment will be graded as a discussion assignment.
Your summary should be a minimum of 300 words, grammatically sound, and free of spelling errors.
