Religion Assignment
Length: about 2 pages single spaced (750-1000 words).
Be sure your paper has a clear thesis. It's almost impossible to get credit for logic or analysis if your thesis isn't clear.
Be sure to give your paper an interesting title. A good title reinforces your thesis and will often help the reader see the logic/organization of your paper.
Instructions:
Select either Hinduism or Buddhism. Explain how Ninian Smart's Seven Dimensions of Religion are expressed in that faith tradition. Identify what you see as a unifying theme for the dimensions, and cite an example of how this theme is present. Include research about the rites, rituals, sacred writings, and in the emotional, social, ethical and material expression of the religion.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
