the inside surface of an 8-in-thick, common brick wall is maintained at 100 F. Thermal conductivity of th brick is 1.0 W/mK. The outer surface of the wall loses heat to the ambient air by convection. The heat-transfer coefficient at the outer surface is 5 Btu/hr.ft^2.F and the air temperature is 40 F. a) Find the heat flux through the wall in SI units. b) Find the temperature of the exposed (outer ) surface c) Plot the temperature distrubution in the wall.
