An ideal gasoline engine has an 8:1 compression ratio. Pressure doubles during the heat addition process. Air enters at 20 degrees C and 1 atm.

Assuming cold air standards:

a) determine the pressure, temp and specific volume at each point in the cycle.

b) determine the net work and thermal efficiency.
